At FacturasOnlineGratis.com we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains which personal data we process, for what purpose and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Your invoice data

The invoice generator works entirely in your browser. The data you enter on the invoice (your details, client, items, amounts, logo, etc.) is neither sent to nor stored on our servers, and we have no access to it.

If you enable the “Save draft in this browser” option, the draft is stored in your device’s local storage (localStorage). You can delete it at any time with the “Clear all” button, by disabling that option or by clearing your browsing data.

3. Contact form

When you write to us through the form we process the data you provide (name, email address, subject and message), together with the IP address, date and browser used, which are recorded for security reasons.

  • Purpose: to handle and answer your enquiry, and to protect the form against automated submissions and abuse.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to answer your enquiry, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention: as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry and, at most, 12 months afterwards, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Technical anti-abuse records are automatically deleted within 48 hours at the latest.

4. Recipients

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless legally required. Our web hosting and email providers may access it solely as data processors, under contracts that guarantee its confidentiality and security. If any provider is located outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will be covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. We only use technical elements that are necessary for it to work:

  • “fog_sid” session cookie: only on the contact form, for the security code (captcha) and protection against fraudulent submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser.
  • Local storage: stores your normal or dark mode preference and, if you enable it, the invoice draft. This information never leaves your device.

These elements are exempt from consent under Article 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI) because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request. If we add advertising or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent beforehand.

6. Share buttons

The Facebook, WhatsApp, X and Telegram buttons are simple links: they do not load any scripts from those platforms or send them data while you browse our website. Only if you click one will the corresponding social network open, and it will process your data according to its own privacy policy.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to the email address above or by post to our address, stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not processed your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted HTTPS connection, security headers, protection against automated submissions and data minimisation.

9. Minors

This service is not intended for children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not send us any personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
